Not my house. Not surprised, either.

Honestly, if it’s something that ships in a padded envelope like that, it’s going to be fine, or it was a bad choice in the first place. I’d be more concerned if it was a box.

My delivery guys still ring the doorbell and run like preteens pranking us.

I watch them ring the doorbell and leave, but my doorbell hasn’t made noise in probably 5 years. Luckily, or the dog would go apeshit.

My sister gets USPS photos of where her packages are left and then makes me use Google street view to figure out what neighbor’s porch they’re on: “ok, white railings but brick columns, and there’s black paint on the TOP of the railings...check the second house on the right on 31st street?”

They don’t care. I’m surprised they even bother. Occasionally I’ll be near enough to the door and sprint to open it. The shocked look on the guy’s face is worth the effort.
The only thing that pisses me off is when they leave an envelope that someone paid extra to get a signature for. A couple times they left things at the wrong door, which is what the signature is supposed to prevent.

Yeah, I had one of those and got an “access denied/package rejected” notice. The window beside my couch is at a right angle to the front door and I can literally see everything from a foot away. Don’t try that crap when you didn’t even drive past my house, much less walk to the door.

All of mine, Royal Mail/Parcel Force , MyHermes, Yodel, TNT, DHL, DPD and Interlink. Know to knock on the door, if the front door is unlocked, to come straight in and leave it on a chair or floor, if it’s to be signed for on paper, they may leave it with a neighbour who has signed for it, if it’s on a PDA, they’ll do the’mark of Zorro’ squiggle and leave it on the chair. If for some reason the front door is locked and no one is there, they’ll leave it with a neighbour.
Only occasionally will we get the odd one that posts a note/ticket through the letter box to say they tried to deliver it and then run when we know they haven’t because we were sat in the front room watching TV and heard no knock on the door.

I didn’t have time to finish watching the whole video, but damn...
How many packages did that person order, and why doesn’t the driver bring them all at once?

That’s hustling the correct way, as opposed to this guy walking slow and tossing packages to save time.

The post office is worst at this.

But if you’re not going to wait for someone to open the door, and you’re going to leave it whether or not someone is home, it’s kinda pointless to even ring. Guess it doesn’t hurt.

It lets people know it’s there so the package doesn’t sit on the porch all day, especially if it’s raining or snowing.

And yet it sits anyway. But yeah I can see that.

Just as bad as amazon sending drivers out at 9pm
